S is for Spring, Sisters and Seniors

The last couple of weeks were a dreary, rainy, cold, wet mess and I am so glad that it is over! The weather left me guessing and rearranging appointments right and left. Gotta love Idaho…at least it is getting beautiful now and will stay that way just long enough to remind me why I live here before winter pulls the rug out from under me again…

After days of rain, we lucked out, and had the most perfect Saturday for photos. I think we earned it after all that rain. Because I like each senior photo session to be unique to the graduate, Maggie and I met the week before the session and talked about different clothing and location options.  Morgan was traveling from out of town for the session so we didn’t get a chance to meet ahead of time but Maggie helped fill me in and we had lots of time prior to the session to chat.  I love to get a feel for my subjects style to make sure that I really create something that is true to them. This session was especially fun because one sister is graduating from college and the other from high school and they got to have their sessions together!
