Playground Family Session – Idaho Family Photographer

The weather this week has forced me into the realization that summer is officially at an end! I adore fall…but this rainy cold week (too soon in September) has me nostalgic for those 98 degree days. So, I am bringing back summer on the blog today!

I love working with this family and not just because we are related! These guys have supported me since very early on in my photography career and it has been so fun to watch their family grow and mature! Ashley always has a clear vision of what she wants from a family session and I always love the direction she wants to go. Two years ago we did an in home session to commemorate their move into their forever home. This year the family wanted to celebrate the stage their children are in right now. This will be the last year that the kiddos are in the same elementary school together so they opted to take the session to the school yard!

It is so fun to watch a family interact together in their natural environment and catch those genuine expressions.

The family on the swings was especially fun to capture! Everyone, even Dad, had some cool tricks to show on the swing set!
