Idaho Winter Wedding – Idaho Wedding Photographer
I have said it before, and I will say it again. I am a sucker for romance. I adore weddings. I love love, if you will. Working with brides and grooms and their families is a highlight of my career. Telling their love story is my pleasure. It is also such a pleasure when a past senior comes to me as a bride. Seeing how they have grown and getting to be a part of the chapter in their story is quite literally an honor. This is the case with Taylor. She was stunning then and she is stunning now. During all of our sessions with Taylor and Preston I think we encountered every possible form of weather possible. Even during their fall engagement session we went from snow to warm golden fall in an hours time. We met for their pre wedding session just two days before Christmas and I dare say that it was the coldest day of the year. I always recommend that my winter brides wear some warm leggings and boots under their dresses for their pre wedding sessions because they wont be seen and it will make them a lot more comfortable. Luckily, Taylor did just that! When I awoke the morning of their session it was snowing and I mean snowing. Huge flakes everywhere! To say I was excited would be a huge understatement. By the time the time of our session arrived, the snow had stopped falling but it did leave a magical covering of snow. Any frostbite we may have received was completely worth it to create these images for this fun couple.
Preston waiting for Taylor. I think it is safe to say that he was looking forward to seeing her.
I love capturing the details and thought put into wedding days.
Even those last minute details 🙂
I love that Taylor embraced the winter season and incorporated it into the theme of her wedding. Including the pine needles and fur cape were the perfect touches for their first look photo session!
