It’s Great to be 8! – Idaho Falls Children’s Photographer

Yesterday evening my little family huddled around the computer screen and watched videos of my children when they were tiny…videos of precious memories from them crawling for the first time to them singing their ABC’s all mixed up and jumbled together and my mama heart swelled. Oh how I miss those tiny babies but oh how I adore the amazing people they are growing into. And how fast they grow! Milestone photos are so important. After all children grow and change so quickly. These milestones don’t end when they blow out the candles on their 1st birthday cakes! Little Miss Olivia recently celebrated her 8th birthday and that is a milestone to celebrate!

Working with Olivia’s fabulous mother, we planned out the perfect session and knew that these photos needed to be in the lilacs!

Just like childhood, Idaho springs are fast and fleeting so we had to time it just right!

After spending the majority of the session in the grasses and blossoms we headed into the studio for some classical shots. Olivia was spectacular the entire time and her charismatic personality radiates through in all of these images! You can even see it in her adorable pink shoes!

When a party accompanies a milestone you will want a stylish way to let your friends and family know the details. Next to photography, designing announcements and albums is my second love. Again working with Missy, Olivia’s fantastic mother, I was able to create darling baptism announcements that harmonize with the images. (for privacy purposes information on the announcements in this post has been changed)

And of course we wanted a place in the design to showcase the images of Olivia!
